In the center of rural village of Pickmere this charming grade II listed Georgian farmhouse offers light airy rooms with flat-screen TVs. The house has a small garden and serves fresh coffee with locally sourced (wherever possible) home-cooked breakfasts. With free tea and coffee each room also has a bathroom with a hairdryer. Beautiful and peaceful setting.

Liked: Excellent choice of breakfasts.Very peaceful environment.Owners were welcoming.
Disliked: On a personal note I am not keen on wet room bathrooms. But I coped!!

Overnight stay

Liked: Stayed in the annex, perfect as we were travelling with our PomChi and had access to the garden.Room was comfortable, clean and well furnished.
Disliked: Nothing to dislike

Liked: Location was amazing for a stop off on our travel up the country to Scotland. Breakfast was really superb - freshly cooked, personal service and great coffee. Attention to detail was exceptional.
Disliked: Liked it all. Room and bathroom were exactly what we needed, comfy bed, accessible shower. Genuinely great for our stay. Access to the garden was brilliant and can see it would be delightful in the summer.
