Hotel Description
The pentahotel Derby is located in Pride Park within walking distance of Derby Train Station and the city center. The hotel offers pay parking and free WiFi in all areas. It is ideally located to explore Derby and the Derbyshire Dales with many of the National Trust properties being only a short drive away. Alton Towers is only a 25 minutes' drive from the hotel. All the rooms are en suite and have an air flow system. They all have tea/coffee making facilities and laptop safes are available at reception. Other features include a 40-inch flat-screen TV with satellite channels and complimentary pay movies. The pentahotel Derby hosts the Pentalounge Bar and Restaurant which serves both traditional and international cuisine. A buffet breakfast is served daily with servings until 10:30 on Sunday mornings. Great hotel and excellent value...

Liked: The staff are really lovely and helpful.Rooms are really nice, clean and good value for money, bathroom was small but toiletries were nice.Breakfast was excellent, freshly cooked and plenty of choiceWould definitely stay here again
Disliked: There is a £5 parking charge per day.

I’d stay again.

Liked: Spotlessly clean, modern hotel with good facilities and good value for money. Very comfortable bed.
Disliked: Location is in an industrial area with no other facilities within walking distance.

Won’t be returning.

Liked: Staff were very nice.
Disliked: Rooms were unbearably warm, 26 degrees! This is not comfortable for sleeping at all I had to ask to move floors from the top floor to the second floor. Even this room stayed at 23 degrees. Staff gave me a fan but naturally this didn’t help loads. The hotel seriously needs to invest in proper air cooling.
