Good base

Liked: Great location for 02 academy and train station
Disliked: Quite noisy inside and out of the hotel, carpets could do with a clean and walls paint touched up, quite dated and only one pillow each! Room also smelt of stale cigarette smoke.

Basic, but good value for...

Liked: The reception/bar area and upstairs restaurant was very nice. Location was also great, being only a short walk from the station.
Disliked: The room is extremely basic, but given the price it was good enough and still value for money. Only thing I would like to change is having more than one pillow!

Liked: Location and cost were exceptional
Disliked: No notification before booking that work was going on at premises. Woke up the morning to banging and drilling.No available iron board was told they were out and would get one soon. (Still waiting).Worst breakfast I ever had in any hotel. Sausage and bacon seem to be microwaved. No beans had to ask for it by the time it arrived, my main breakfast was cold.
