A lovely venue for a...

Liked: Peckforton has a lovely atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff. The location as they say is a way out so car is useful. Food was lovely.
Disliked: Our bed was very slightly too firm if being critical. Would be nice to be able to explore some of the grounds.

Did exactly what it said...

Liked: Almost everything.
Disliked: Our room had paper thin wall behind headboard. Could hear the conversations going on next door till 1.30 in morning. No fault at all of the occupants they were only talking. We come from a crowded house and nothing usually keeps us awake . It was unfortunate that this prevented us from sleeping . It did not spoil our stay. But you should be mindful that others might think it unexceptable

Liked: All the furnishings of a medieval castle. Excellent service. Delicious food. Romantic atmosphere.
Disliked: N/a

Hogwarts but with a waygu...

Liked: The whole place looked and felt amazing.
Disliked: Bit of a funky smell from the bathroom. Tarporley room. Lack of a draft craft beer like a pale ale.

First impressions excellent but follow...

Liked: Beautiful location & grounds Staff were very pleasant but did feel their inexperience
Disliked: Interior is shabby. Ensuite shabby & needs updating. Noise outside window into the early morning (corporate party) Breakfast was basic & coffee weak. Dinner in 1851 was excellent as was lunch in the Bistro
