Lovely treat being able to...

Liked: Initial opinion, limited parking and no clear signs where to check in. Lucy was very friendly, however there was confusion over billing and we were charged even though had already paid booking.com. This seems to have been booking.com’s error though. Room is amazing, sadly a few hand bangs on the sloping ceiling one side of the bed during the night whilst making toilet trips.
Disliked: Sloping ceiling. It’s a feature, but a smaller bed (as bed is huge) would increase space and reduce risk of head bangs. Wood floor in bathroom is also slippy when walking around. Needed to walk and move bath mat with you to prevent slips. No hand soap dish near sink.

Disliked: Wish showers would have somewhere to put shampoo and soap

Would stay again

Liked: Friendly staff, we stayed in a superior room which was a good size. Bed super comfy! Sunday roast in the bar was excellent.
Disliked: Noisy on Saturday night as bar underneath doesn’t close until midnight.

Disliked: Room extremely small for 2 adults squeezing around the bed and very hot as no air conditioning. Out shower was blocked so they moved is to another room which was slightly bigger but still very hot.
