Disliked: The room has not been cleaned properly and the sofa bed is not done, when we arrive me and my wife need to do the sofa bed.

Average hotel, needs better cleaning.

Liked: The location is great, and so is the Inn restaurant next door. The staff there were fantastic, as was the food. In the main hotel, the lady that checked us in was very friendly, but others we spoke to were very rude and sharp with us, when we had been told we could wait in reception to check in with the dogs and children, only to be spoken to very abruptly that dogs were not allowed in the reception. I did politely explain I'd asked and been told I could, but she continued to repeat herself and in the same tone, like I was a child being told off. Not a great first impression.
Disliked: We booked a dog friendly room, which you pay extra for each dog you bring. The assumption, is the extra fee is to deep clean carpets and furniture after your stay, however, the carpets smelled like wet dog and the sofas had dog hair all over. We covered them in spare sheets for our stay and wore shoes around the room, as it just felt a bit disgusting not to, given the smell. Just because you have dogs doesn't mean you should tolerate this in a hotel room.

Liked: The staff were all so friendly and helpfull. The hotel was so quiet and relaxed.
Disliked: The breakfast could have been a bit better, but it wasent bad! The hotel as a whole is a little dated, but it was very clean
