Park South Hotel part of JdV by Hyatt

Clean, comfortable stay, really close...

Liked: Convenient location. Clean rooms. Friendly reception staff. Free coffee and bottled water. Good air conditioning. Breakfast not provided but there is a great bagel place two doors along the street.
Disliked: Difficult to contact the hotel by phone in advance (to ask for our 2 rooms to be close together). I was told to call different departments, and no one seemed able to help so I gave up. But shortly before our arrival I got an automatic email asking for special requests, and it was all fine in the end.

Liked: A lovely and quiet little hotel, with a great location right off Park Ave and steps from the subway. Enjoyed Park Ave (closed to cars Sat) and Madison Square Park nearby. Nice rooftop bar. Crisp, clean room that was surprisingly spacious for NYC. Cute sitting areas downstairs. Lots of nice extras like a complimentary wine at the rooftop and our room was ready early. Friendly staff. Incredible coffee shops, bars, and restaurants in area. Exceeded expectations!
Disliked: The bathroom is a little small, but fine for NYC standards IMO. A mini fridge would be nice, but we weren't there long enough to need it.

Liked: Wonderful and nice staff at front desk and door. Good location for what I was doing. Easy to get a cab or use subway.
Disliked: It’s an old hotel that has not been renovated. Limited amenities, not sure what the resort fee is for? Ie no ice machine, mini fridge, ect. Rooftop bar is very loud. I asked for middle floor room and it was still very loud until 11pm on a Tuesday. The stay was totally fine but will not stay here again.
