Liked: Perfect location, staff were friendly and easy to check in.
Disliked: We were on the ground floor right on the front street and therfore couldn't open the blinds so no natural light in the room so we either had to suffer a really bad bright overhead light or the smallest spotlights lamps. The bedside lamps need updating to better ones. Also there was a storage cupboard right next to the room with the door being propped open constantly by staff and there was a constant noise coming from it throughout the night. Not ideal when trying to sleep, really it should have been closed during the night at least.

Liked: Nothing about this hotel or the service provided qualifies it as a 4*.
Disliked: The hotel is misrepresented and mis-sold as a 4*.The room we were put in was G104, which would best serve as a store-cupboard and should not have been allocated/sold/used as a family bedroom.This G104 room was to the right of reception desk, behind/adjacent to the lobby toilet and the lift, next to the kitchen and dining areas and was claustrophobic, noisy and disruptive from the noise of individuals using the hotel lobby/toilets/lift/restaurant area, and the kitchen staff preparing the breakfast and the cleaner who started cleaning the toilet adjacent to our room at 7am - which the hotel receptionist/manager did nothing to stop, despite direct complaints.The tiny dining area right next to the reception desk was also where the hotel personnel sat and had their food whilst we were still trying to have breakfast. A hotel that does not have a separate staff room and allows staff with dirty uniforms to sit amongst the guests cannot be considered a 4*.The buffet area is far too small to be regarded as a 4* and there was not enough food for everyone. When we asked if they would be bringing out more food, they only brought out 2 hash browns and nothing else!The room was dirty, the tea-cups had a thick layer of dust, the toilet smelled of a sewer, the mattress was uncomfortable and the bedding too thin.Neither the hotel nor the service they provided are anywhere close to 4*.

Liked: Good location. Close to Hyde Park.
Disliked: It’s definitely not a 4 star hotel. We could hear the room next door perfectly. The walls were paper thin. The rooms were dated and a bit messy. The ceiling was also leaking.
