The Spotlight on Park Avenue Baker Street

Stylish Comfort Steps from London's Music Scene

Modern, affordable, and well-located, Park Avenue Baker Street is a smart pick for concert-goers who want to stay close to the action without being caught in the hustle. Situated just outside the congestion charge zone and a quick stroll from both Marylebone and Baker Street stations, this hotel offers easy access to some of London’s most iconic music venues, shops, and attractions. Rooms are sleek and recently renovated, with free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs, making it a convenient base to recharge between shows.

Why Concert-goers love it

It’s hard to beat the location—just a few minutes’ walk from the tube and close to venues like the O2 Academy Islington, Roundhouse, and Royal Albert Hall. After a night out, it’s easy to get back thanks to great late-night transport links. The rooms are generally quiet and modern, ideal for recovering after a loud gig. With a 24-hour front desk, late-night returns are no problem, and check-in from 2:00 PM means you can drop your bags and head out.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish yet budget-friendly crash pad
  • Solo travelers ticking off a must-see gig
  • Couples on a musical weekend getaway
  • Fans wanting a quieter place to recover after the encore
  • Budget-conscious music lovers who still want comfort and location

Food and Drink Options

While there’s no on-site restaurant, the 24-hour reception team can point you to great nearby pubs and cafes. You’re within walking distance of a variety of eateries—from late-night kebabs to cozy brunch spots. Breakfast is available in the area for those who need a slow start after a late night.

Nightlife Options

You're just minutes from some of London’s best bars and lounges, especially around Marylebone and Soho. Whether you're looking for pre-show cocktails or a post-concert pint, you’re well-placed. While there’s no on-site bar, the neighborhood more than makes up for it with its vibrant scene.

What People Say

Guests love the hotel’s clean, modern rooms and excellent location. Many highlight how close it is to major attractions and venues, with easy tube access. The staff get frequent shout-outs for being friendly and helpful, particularly when offering dining and travel tips.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be on the smaller side, especially if you’re carrying lots of gear or merch. There’s no lift, so if you have mobility concerns or heavy luggage, be sure to request a lower floor. A lack of an on-site restaurant might be a downside for some, but the area’s food options are plentiful.

The Bottom Line

If you're heading to a gig and want a clean, modern, and well-connected place to crash, Park Avenue Baker Street hits the right note.

Passable

Liked: The position and the staff.
Disliked: The room is extremely tiny, you can barely move, the bed is old and the mattress is not comfortable at all, I understand London is expensive but this is definitely bad value for money.

A pleasant and friendly boutique...

Liked: The highlights of the stay were the location and the staff. Every staff member was cheerful, helpful and polite. Nothing we asked of them was too much for them. Our room was on the third floor, so involved climbing three floors from the reception. But a young man carried up our bags for us, with a smile on his face and impeccable manners. The reception staff were also glad to provide helpful information at any time. And the staff in the restaurant made the breakfasts very enjoyable. The young man remembered our preferences, and promptly brought us two teapots of hot water for our tea each day. So they did everything they could to make our 7-day stay pleasant, and that was much appreciated by us and made all the difference.
Disliked: The outer sash of the window was crooked and jammed, so it looked like the room needed some renovation and updating. However, we didn't have any real problems during our stay.
