It was a pleasent stay...

Liked: We were moved to a different hotel but it was a nice hotel the room was basic needs and cosy
Disliked: I would hope the room we received was of equal or more value to the one I booked as it was very basic compared to the photos of the one we booked

Liked: Nice looking room. Clean and tidy. Does the job.
Disliked: Room was tiny. Seriously small. However it had everything we needed.

Comfy, clean, great location

Liked: Comfy bed, polite staff, clean, good location, room serviced.
Disliked: Room was extremely small even though it’s a single it was very tight for space and the view was awful. Only earl grey teabags and not enough milk. However staff replenished plenty for me for the next day which was great.

Liked: Th room was a good size and the bed was comfy also the bathroom was a good size decent shower
Disliked: The window was letting a lot of cold air in throw the night so my husband didn’t go to sleep until 4 am because he was so cold along with the air conditioning system is faulty ( staff confirmed this) so it wouldn’t switch off throw the night then in the day it wouldn’t switch on. Also the room we had the balcony looked like it would collapse and sounded like there was a water fall out side the window in the which also kept us awake.

Exceptional

Great base from which to...

Liked: We booked this property due to its close proximity to Hyde Park where we were attending a concert. The room was exactly what we had expected - basic but it met our needs perfectly as somewhere to lay our heads after a busy day sightseeing and singing! The property is also close to several well priced restaurants and typical London pubs.
Disliked: Nothing really. Reception staff were good despite being very busy. The room was clean. Great shower.

Superb

Fine hotel with great location.

Liked: The location is very close to Paddington's central train station and Underground. The room is compact and reasonably quiet. The breakfast room is in the basement and offers full English and Continental breakfast.
Disliked: Rooms in general could be bigger but this is a common complaint.

Exceptional

Liked: The hotel was very well positioned for whatever you wanted to do in London. Stylish with friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Nothing.

Disliked: Bitten in sleep twice on first nightNo mattress protector on bedAll pictures on website showed Bath with us why booked. No Bath. Did London marathon so this was key for me. No room in room to stretch after either as too small. Soft pillow on bed made face swell and caused asthma attack. Staff did not tell when breakfast was, dinner available, check out. Everything you would expect when arriving. Only one of us made it to breakfast one day despite paying for whole trip. First day arrived in queue to be told by people at front of queue (10 ahead of where we would have joined) that they had already waited half an hour. Barely slept and something that sounded like a generator was going on and off all night. Glad to be back home so can sleep for more than 15 mins!
