Pacific Blue Inn

Sweet 9 room inn. Quiet; friendly staff; updated bathroom; you even get a continental breakfast; close to everything including Kaiser Stadium.

Liked: Close to Kaiser Stadium and downtown. Staff super friendly and accommodating. Bathroom was all new.
Disliked: Not too loud thumping music at dance club next door, but stopped at 11:00 - so not too bad.

The staff really took care of us. Breakfast was excellent. The room was cute and quaint. The hotel was within walking distance to town, shops and restaurants. If we are ever in Santa Cruz again, we will definitely stay here.

Convenient location for walk to The Catalyst for a concert at night and to the beach the next morning. Very contemporary room interior; the bathroom was especially cool with the zero-step entry to shower.

Liked: Very friendly staff, particularly Elise in the Front Office, who shared help tips on where to eat and places to go.
Disliked: None.

Beautiful small hotel a few blocks from the Catalyst. Little fire pit outside, super comfy bed, very kind staff. Loved it!

Liked: Very spacious and comfortable room. Very comfortable king size bed. The pacific inn blue is dog friendly, really helpful and courteous staff. Water and ice machine always available. They offer hot drinks and cookies definitely excellent! Parking space available for 15$ per day.
Disliked: To be honest...everything was amazing!

Overpriced but comfortable.

Liked: No one was there to check you in after 4:30 pm on a Saturday so had to use a lockbox. No amenities at all, not even a luggage cart. Room was perfectly fine, comfortable bed, but the sink was dirty - I texted staff about it and never got a response. Definitely would not rate this hotel 3 stars. If it was half the price I would have been happier. Location was great and it was quiet.
Disliked: Check in was impersonal (no one there after 4:30 pm!) and we had to pay extra for offsite parking. No amenities, no breakfast, another hotel is definitely a better value.

Liked: My partner and I loved that it’s tucked away and once you walk in very quiet and beautiful. It was one of the cleanest rooms we’ve stayed in. Calvin was very kind and welcoming, he was very accommodating. We will definitely be booking again.

Liked: small boutique hotel and very quiet
Disliked: we paid about 30% more than Booking quoted us. Parking was additional $15/day. Plus surcharge of $9.60 for using credit card, 3 different govt fees and the pet fee of $50. I thought we were getting an inclusive quote. No frig, no microwave, no staff on site for 22 hours a day - very short on hospitality. I liked Alondra but she did not clean out the coffee machine so on our first morning so we could not have coffee.

Liked: the room was clean but everything else was mediocre.
Disliked: Not so friendly checkin staff and the lack of fridge was disappointing. Also first floor rooms are really dark and you dont get any light since you can really open your blinds.
