Slumming it

Disliked: Nothing like on pictures, staff nowhere to be seen and could understand us when we phoned. Very unhelpful and disappointed it felt more like a hostel

Liked: The rooms was OK but the climbing the stairs was a joke we had loads of them to climb and the door upstairs opened outwards which was disappointing

Cheap and comfy
Liked: On arrival it looked a bit sketchy and we didn't know where to get the key. This was quickly rectified with a quick phone call. The main office is along the road which we didn't know. Host came promptly with the key. Steep staircase. Once in the room, it was clean, spacious and comfortable with a mini fridge. Bathroom was very small. Great location behind Lord St and round the corner from our favourite pub The Windmill. £70 for 1 night for 2 adults and 2 teens which can't complain at. Booked at short notice. Free parking on the driveway was a bonus.
