I had a very enjoyable...
Liked: The location was brilliant, just a short walk from London Marylebone. The staff member on reception was very welcoming and helpful. My room looked like it had recently been refurbished and although there were a few minor things to complete, like the trim round the base of the shower unit, this did not have an impact on my stay. The room was fresh, clean and comfortable. The weather was extremely hot and the addition of a fan in the room was very welcome. There are no breakfast options within the hotel but several very close by, lots of choice there really.I would definitely book this hotel again.
Disliked: There was a hot drink station and drinking water in reception but I would have liked a kettle and mugs in the room so I could make hot drinks there.

Hotel is fine, staff were...
Liked: The location was great, it was easy to get to. The staff were really friendly and I liked the fact that you could get free coffee, tea or hot water at any time.
Disliked: In early March we booked 2 nights in a Twin room. We asked for a ground floor room as we are not easily able to make the stairs with luggage. I had a message in March to say that my request had been logged with the hotel. A couple of days prior to our trip I received a phone call to advise that they did not have any twin rooms on the ground floor, all their twin rooms were up three flights of stairs, the only option was to move us to a smaller double room on the ground floor. We took this room as it was only a couple of days prior to our trip and there was not enough time to find another hotel. When we arrived we were shown the room the bed was very small and it was almost up against one of the walls, the room was so hot but the window would not stay open so we had to prop something into it. We had such a horrid night sleep the first night that we decited to leave. (even though we had paid for two nights) there was no way we could sleep in that room / bed another night so we cut our trip short. When we advised the reception that we were checking out early, and the reasons, the reception just said they were "Very sorry" It was a disspointing trip. If we had been called sooner to advise that they could not accommodate our ground floor request we would have been able to find a different hotel, as it was we had no time to sort anything else out so had no choice. Calling me less that a week before our trip was really unhelpful.

Lovely cheap stay!
Liked: I liked the old fashioned decor. It was a lovely stay. The rooms were basic but comfortable. The location is ideal for travel into and out of London. I would definitely stay again in future for the price.
Disliked: Could do with some updates in paintwork and basic repairs but these issues weren’t in our room.
