Terrible. Disaster. No rooms available....

Liked: Nothing as it wasn’t even open for me to stay at! The hotel decided not to contact me before our stay as tell us that the hotel was no longer open for regular customers and it was a ‘council contract’ only. I had to call them to try to sort out a refund and I still haven’t received a refund yet.
Disliked: I didn’t actually stay at the property as planned and had to spend another £190 to book a different hotel. The OYO Sussex was ‘shut’ and couldn’t give my friend and I a room to stay in, even though we booked and paid £180 for the night through Booking.com. They didn’t contact me before stay to inform us that the hotel was now only accommodating people on a ‘council contract’ only. They still have my £180 and I’m no closer to a refund at all. They rejected my request for cancellation with a full refund even though they knew they couldn’t accommodate us. I would avoid booking ANY property with the OYO name associated with it. Shocking customer service.
