Liked: Cheap............
Disliked: Checked in, then checked out within 15 minutes. Dirty smoke ridden room. Bed looked like someone had just been resting on it. Stain on sheets and cushions. Bins full of rubbish. Refused a refund by the owner.

Was a very cheap stay...

Liked: We thought the room was clean, the bed was comfortable, the heater worked well and the water was hot. The TV and WIFI worked well. The two members of staff that we saw were friendly & chatty.
Disliked: The room was very basic,. The blind on the window could not be moved up or down as the pully cord was missing. There were no plugs for the bath or sink which made having a wash difficult. Although there was a tiny shower gel there were no liquid hand soaps in bathroom, no heating in bathroom and bathroom door could not be closed fully. General state of hotel in poor condition. Perhaps this reflected the low price of rooms.

Liked: Location was ideal, easy to find, plenty of parking. Bed was comfortable. Gentleman who checked me in was really polite.
Disliked: GDPR means nothing. Friends I was meeting asked at reception if I’d already checked in, they were told yes then given my room number. Generally this was fine as they are genuinely my friends, however what if they weren’t and had malicious intent, or were an abusive partner I was escaping? Not great. Inconsistencies from room to room. My room was extremely basic but fine for what I paid whereas friends paid the same price and room was carpeted and generally looked a higher quality. They may be in the process of upgrading all rooms, I’m unsure.

Overall: not good at all...

Liked: It was affordable
Disliked: First 2 rooms allocated were already occupied! Third attempt was a room with an over-flowing dustbin, remote controls (2) not working & a wet towel in the bathroom!!! I didn’t stay the night!
