Liked: The room size was good and was very clean. The shower room was very small but adequate - I would say not for larger sized people though. It was very clean. The beds were okay. The vegetarian breakfast was very nice. Plenty of coat hangers in the wardrobe. The staff were very pleasant and keen to offer help.
Disliked: The room was very dark and dismal when curtains closed. The main light was over shaded by its shade and there was only one side light by the 2 beds. There were 2 bottles of water when we arrived , we used one the first day but it wasn't replaced on our second day. The 2 glasses weren't changed and the cups from coffee only slightly rinsed out. Small issues but make a difference. The full breakfast was just okay - my husband (a Scot) was disappointed there were no Lorne sausage on the menu. But the black pudding was good. All personal choice though. Parking was advertised as available but it was pot luck to get a space as the downstairs grill is very busy and those customers also can use the parking spaces. I think some should be reserved for overnight guests. Be aware there is no lift, however every member of staff offered help with cases.
