Great Hotel, quirky, interesting and...
Liked: The Continental Breakfast in the room was perfect for me and my wife, as we had booked this as a stop-over for the Porthcawl 10K. The fridge in the room was a nice addition too, we had yogurt, cheese and orange juice.
Disliked: The room (French Room) was very quirky and very unique but in the end it felt a bit too cluttered, also the room lacked natural light. I love the theming of the hotel in general, and that it is different, may not be to everyones taste.

Great stay!
Liked: Lovely room with a very generous breakfast set up in the room for guests convenience. Lovely touch providing the extra treats too.
Disliked: Bit confusing to find as it didn’t mention to look out for’OH’ & that would have helped when we arrived in the rain.

Very good
Liked: Great location, very clean, very responsive staff, good value for money
Disliked: For my personal like the hotel and room was over-decorated, 100s of items everywhere make you feel a bit suffocating. There was a strange smell thoughput the hotel. I would prefer the room to have an enclosed shower (or bath) rather than an open bathtub in the room. But these are just subjective personal preferences.

A charming and thoughtfully curated...
Liked: It felt very welcoming and homely. The boutique décor was absolutely amazing. I stayed in the King’s Room, and it offered more than I could have asked for. There was a complimentary continental breakfast, a small refrigerator stocked with orange juice, and an unlimited supply of lollipops and Welsh cakes. In the living room, you could also find complimentary mandarins, a full ice bucket of white wine, and more sweets. The classical music playing in the background added an extra touch to the already marvellous atmosphere. I forgot to mention the tea and coffee in the room
Disliked: I would have given it a 10/10, but there were a couple of minor things I didn’t fully appreciate. There was a strange odour in the living room that reminded me of cat litter. I’m not sure if that was the actual cause or if perhaps one of the guests had brought a cat, but I could definitely sense it around the large Chesterfield sofa. Also, the bed was too soft for my taste, as I personally prefer a firm mattress. However, this is very subjective, and I imagine most guests would find it extremely comfortable. That said, I will definitely come back — the overall experience was wonderful.

Liked: Thank you for the quick action. We really hope we could have stayed longer to your well decorated room, relaxing atmosphere and comfortable bed.
Disliked: Its was weekend, so the parking on the street was sort of first come first served basis hence waited until one is free.

Unique, quirkey B&B
Liked: Location was 2min walk from seafront, room was clean, well supplied with all you could need, continental breakfast provided in -room so no need to have to go for breakfast at pre-determined time. Complimentary welsh cakes and wine, very quirky decor made this short trip something to remember. Would stay again
Disliked: Parking could be problematic, but car park nearby
