Gorgeous stay in the Ojai...
Liked: One of the most gorgeous properties I have ever stayed. Loved the expansive property.
Disliked: When checking in, we had to wait for a while due to a large group checking in. The front desk attendant was awesome to help with the chaos due to the group checking in. When checking out, we asked for an hour extension due to check in taking a long time, and I wanted to visit the fitness gym after sleeping in and enjoying my coffee. The front desk attendant compromised and allowed us to check out at 11:30. Would have been nice to stay more than one night at this property.

Disappointment
Disliked: This was supposed to be a nice place. It’s priced that way.Our towel was stained and dirty. We found a hair in our napkin at their high end restaurant. Then, the other napkin was dirty. The room had one tiny window, so the room was very dark. The room smelled upon walking inside, musty. The high end restaurant was not amazing. It was just good. And the furniture (chairs) were not very comfortable. The heater in the bedroom kept blowing cold air. We will not be returning. Not worth the price whatsoever. Very average.

Liked: Rooms were clean. Housekeeping gave extra care with cord straps and pixies. Restaurant staff was above and beyond at Olivella.
Disliked: The Communication gap between the front desk and valet left a lot to be desired. First time we had to be in Ventura harbor early am we waited for 30 mins for our car. It wasn’t called, then they couldn’t find it bc it was not attached to the room correctly. The second time we called down 20 mins ahead of time when I was checking out and asked them to retrieve the car and it still hadn’t been called yet. It took another 15. The valet guys are all working hard. It’s a breakdown in communications between the front desk and the valet team.
