Very good

Liked: Very convenient, lovely staff and great food. Room clean and comfy beds
Disliked: Room was small and restricted (would not have liked to stay for more than 2 nights). No view other than a whitewashed wall 6ft away and you could see directly into the room from the room where breakfast was served!Whilst none of the above were a big issue for us (just got on with it) i imagine sone would have a tantrum!

Ideal hotel for short 3/4...

Liked: Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Value for Money.
Disliked: Didn’t like the open wardrobe in the bedroom by the bedside. Difficulty getting into the bath to have a shower. Fixed shower head had no hand held shower head with it.

Lovely stay

Liked: We had a lovely 2 night stay and had a room with a seperate lounge area so plenty of room for the 2 of us.We ate in the restaurant the 1st night and had a delicious meal and breakfast on both mornings was lovely and cooked to order. The bar area is small but sufficient seating. We were attending a wedding at Hyde House which is a short walk away but you have to walk along a busy A road on grass verdges. We drove and left the car overnight and walked home, it's easier then staying in the village (a good uphill walk of 20 mins+)and trying to book a taxi, as they are scarce in the area. Both the hotel and Hyde House have plenty of parking. The staff in the hotel are very friendly and helpful.
Disliked: The corridors and bits of our room could do with a bit of upkeep but we still had an excellent stay
