Liked: Absolutely loved the jacuzzi, kitchenette , great location
Disliked: Fire alarms went off

Good except for £40 to...

Liked: The property was in a fantastic location! Close to everything we needed and easily accessible to the tube.The rooms were decorated to a very high standard and loved the little kitchenette. Not that we used it with all the restaurants close by. The bathroom was tiny on the other hand.
Disliked: We arrived before the check in time of 3pm (approx 1pm) and asked if it was possible to check in early if our room was ready. They said our room was ready and it’s £40 to check in early!!! We were literally shocked. As experience travellers we have never experienced this before. Any other hotel if your room is ready then they give it to you. Completely understand paying for a late check out due to the knock on effects of guests staying later etc but never experienced this before. This was just pure extortion.

Great value for money and...

Liked: Very helpful staff.Kitchenette very nearly done and tucked away in cupboard.
Disliked: Hairs left in wardrobe let down the otherwise very good stay. Cups far too small.

Impersonal, scalding time made better...

Liked: In a great location, close to the tube station, and Kensington Gardens. It's next door to a hostel which was lively when we arrived back in the evening, but the room was nice a quiet.The kitchenette was a nice touch, with basic limited supplies, we ended up just using the coffee machine and filtered tap water. The bed was comfortable to sleep on, an the general room was clean and felt newly decorated.
Disliked: Arrived at prime check in time to find no-one at reception, we waited around 20 minutes, called the number on the booking, which rang a phone left on the desk. We then felt rushed through check in, with no greeting or welcome to the stay, with very little information about the area.When we informed them about hairs we found left all over the bed we were told to "brush them off, it's probably the house keepers", after pushing slightly we were then offered a change in sheets. The jacuzzi bath was roomy and relaxing, word of warning would have been nice, as it pumped out 40-50c water with no way to turn it down, we ended up leaving it overnight to a comfortable temperature (plan ahead if you want to use it). We asked for help, from the night reception who told us to read the instructions in the room, which didn't exist.The cupboard outside of the room could do with some cushioning, as they woke us up being slammed at 4am in the morning by a staff member.

Comfortable room in a convenient...

Liked: Location of this property is good with two tube stations in close proximity. A short walk brings you to local shops and mini marts. The hop on hop off bus stop is also a short walk from the hotel. Direct access to Hyde Park.The bed was comfortable and the shower was brilliant. Having a kitchenette was useful. The room was cleaned daily with fresh towels. Everything in London is expensive as was the cost of the hotel so I’m not sure I can say value for money.
Disliked: There is no where to put your luggage. The only place you can sit is on the bed and this includes when eating a meal. The room had a tiny desk with one chair, so this doesn’t accommodate two guests a place to sit and eat.There is no information booklet in the room on how to operate the spa or spa lights. Even the person on reception could not help.Suggestions..have an informative booklet in the room, including details on closest tube stations, local mart etc and operating instructions for the spa. Also a tea towel for drying dishes would be handy.

Liked: Location was incredible, 5 minutes by foot to the Hyde Park.Bed was extremely comfortable and very good price.Staff was very friendly and I received a bed upgrade for free, I loved my stay there.
