Great stay; lovely breakfast; will definitely book Novotel next time we’re in Birmingham.

Liked: Central location; reception staff very helpful and friendly.

Superb

Liked: Nice comfortable room. Clean, facilities as expected. I especially liked the full size shower with good flow and hot water! Location is great for people attending the arena. Staff were friendly.
Disliked: Hairdryer, a minor inconvenience but the lead is far too short. You have to lower your head (almost under the table) and then can't see the mirror lol

Liked: Central to everything we needed to attend, food shops, restaurants and just easy to access all places.
Disliked: Sink was blocked, dog barking early, doors banging as we were placed near elevator and stairway access

Great location, comfortable and clean.

Liked: Great location on Broad street. Good standard of accommodation, breakfast is likewise good. Stayed there before and will likely stay again when in Birmingham.
Disliked: I arrived a little after 14:30 and was told my room was not ready. Like a lot of hotels they have a policy of charging for early check ins (before 3pm). Went back a 15:01 and my room was ready. This is not the first time I have done this. You can store your bag should you arrive before 3pm, but many other hotels have a little more flexibility. Novotel seems to be pretty rigid on the 3pm check in time. Not a big issue, but this inflexibility shows policy is more important than giving ‘that little bit extra’ to the customer.
