A great place to stay...
Liked: Location to attend an event in Hyde Park was great, meaning we skipped the queues of people as it is a walkable distance back to the hotel. The room was modern, and had good facilities such as a fridge, kettle, tv and aircon. For 3 people we had enough space between us all.
Disliked: The shower riser didn’t work - meaning that even my friend at the height of 5ft had to bend under it to use it! It would be nice to have an actual duvet instead of a sheet and quilt - but that’s just personal preference.

Really bad cost-benefit ratio
Liked: The noisiest hotel I've ever not slept in.
Disliked: Very small room, not even a wardrobe. Really noisy. Shabby altogether.

Overall it was ok.
Liked: Excellent location at central London. Excellent connectivity to all parts of city including super markets and restaurants. The surrounding area is very calm. The staff were cordial and helpful and in spite of no cloak room, they kept the luggage in corridor which can be monitored by CCTV.
Disliked: Too small room and so cramped to keep the things in order. One can't keep soap, shower gel in the shower area as there is no provision. There is no lift and we faced problem in carrying the luggage. There is no cloak room to keep the luggage. There is no breakfast facility.

Pleasant
Liked: Simple but clean room. Very friendly staff at the reception. Many restaurants nearby and a short walk to the subway station.

If you live on the...
Liked: The pillow - it seemed clean.
Disliked: There was a strong naphthalene smell in the bathroom, which could also be mould smell. I could see some molding around the frame of the shower cabin. This is a no-no, beyond acceptable. The kettle in the room for boiling water had white stain marks on the transparent numbers bar, it deterred me from using it. Overall, the bathroom strong smell of naphthalene (it seemed like it the best I could tell) was a huge deterrent. I was able to keep my window open for the night in June, and keep the bathroom shut door.
