Why Concert-goers love it

This hotel is a hit with music lovers thanks to its excellent transport links. Whether you’re heading to a show at the O2, Roundhouse, Royal Albert Hall, or any other major venue, the nearby underground station makes it easy to get there and back — even late at night. The peaceful residential setting also means you'll return to a quiet, restful space after the encore. While check-in starts at 14:00, the staff are helpful and flexible, especially if you’re arriving early or leaving late.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for an affordable and central base
  • Solo travelers checking off a dream gig
  • Couples enjoying a concert weekend in the city

Food and Drink Options

While the hotel doesn’t offer on-site dining, you’re surrounded by plenty of local cafes, pubs, and restaurants within walking distance. Grab a bite before the show or find a late-night eatery nearby. Morning-after breakfast options are plentiful in Notting Hill and Kensington, perfect for a slow start after a big night out.

Nightlife Options

You're just steps from the laid-back pubs of Notting Hill and a short tube ride from London’s buzzing nightlife scenes in Soho and Camden. While there's no on-site bar, the neighborhood offers everything from cozy wine bars to cocktail lounges. Catch a live set at a nearby venue or wind down in a local pub with a pint of craft beer.

What People Say

Guests rave about the hotel’s prime location and easy access to public transport. The rooms are noted for being clean, modern, and great value for the money. Many travelers appreciate the friendly staff and quiet atmosphere — ideal after a night out. The fast Wi-Fi and proximity to attractions like Hyde Park and Portobello Road are also big pluses.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms can be on the smaller side — something to keep in mind if you're traveling with lots of gear. There’s no elevator, so pack light if you’re on an upper floor. Also, while there’s no restaurant or bar on-site, the area more than makes up for it with local dining options.

A great place to stay...

Liked: Location to attend an event in Hyde Park was great, meaning we skipped the queues of people as it is a walkable distance back to the hotel. The room was modern, and had good facilities such as a fridge, kettle, tv and aircon. For 3 people we had enough space between us all.
Disliked: The shower riser didn’t work - meaning that even my friend at the height of 5ft had to bend under it to use it! It would be nice to have an actual duvet instead of a sheet and quilt - but that’s just personal preference.

Really bad cost-benefit ratio

Liked: The noisiest hotel I've ever not slept in.
Disliked: Very small room, not even a wardrobe. Really noisy. Shabby altogether.

Overall it was ok.

Liked: Excellent location at central London. Excellent connectivity to all parts of city including super markets and restaurants. The surrounding area is very calm. The staff were cordial and helpful and in spite of no cloak room, they kept the luggage in corridor which can be monitored by CCTV.
Disliked: Too small room and so cramped to keep the things in order. One can't keep soap, shower gel in the shower area as there is no provision. There is no lift and we faced problem in carrying the luggage. There is no cloak room to keep the luggage. There is no breakfast facility.

Liked: Simple but clean room. Very friendly staff at the reception. Many restaurants nearby and a short walk to the subway station.

Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

If you live on the...

Liked: The pillow - it seemed clean.
Disliked: There was a strong naphthalene smell in the bathroom, which could also be mould smell. I could see some molding around the frame of the shower cabin. This is a no-no, beyond acceptable. The kettle in the room for boiling water had white stain marks on the transparent numbers bar, it deterred me from using it. Overall, the bathroom strong smell of naphthalene (it seemed like it the best I could tell) was a huge deterrent. I was able to keep my window open for the night in June, and keep the bathroom shut door.
