Disliked: Hi, the hotel was very run down and not clean. We walked up the stairs to our room and the bannister was unsteady and not secure. We got to our room, my 6 year old child found cigarette ends in the drawer with the hairdryer. there was an extension cable next to the head of the single bed which we did not find this a safe area. Tried to give my son a shower and it was running cold we could not get warm water to come through at this time. We was at the hotel an hour before we checked out due to this. We would appreciate some kind of refund due to the cleanliness of the hotel we could not have stayed here for the night.We have tried to complain through booking.com customer services and the hotel have ignored customer services

Exceptional

Liked: They room was tiny but cute, loved IT for my two night stay. They people at the reception were very, very kind and friendly.
Disliked: If I had stayed longer, I would have missed a littel more space for my stuff.

Wouldn’t stay there again!

Disliked: Old. No elevator. A lot of stairs to climb with suitcases and I’ve thrown out better furniture than what was in the room!

Liked: The location was great. Short walk from Nottingham Hill Gate underground stop.
Disliked: There are a lot of stairs ( no lift). Would book again but lower floor.

Fantastic value for money, lovely...

Liked: The best thing about this hotel is value for money considering it's central London! My friend and I went to a concert so just needed a place to sleep for the night so didn't want to spend a lot of money on accommodation. Okay, so the hotel is a bit outdated without much new tech, but the staff were really friendly and made us feel very welcome. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The wi-fi was fine.The location is excellent - just a few minutes walk from Notting Hill Gate, grocery shops and nightlife.
Disliked: The beds were a bit hard, but comfortable enough.

Liked: The staff were very helpful.I hurt my leg and they moved are room so I had less stairs to do.The bed had a good mattress and good power on shower.Very hot water.
Disliked: The room was bit small and the bathroom too in size.But was ok for what we needed

Basic room in a beautiful...

Liked: Loved the location of the hotel, right across from Kensington Park. The room was fine for what we paid, mostly to used sleep and shower. There was a refrigerator and microwave in the basement level which was a plus. They stored our luggage after checkout which was very helpful.
Disliked: Tiny TV.
