Fabulous location, helpful staff, excellent...

Liked: The location was beautiful, the staff were very helpful, the breakfast was fabulous! It was great to have use of the swimming pool
Disliked: The access to the pool was a bit limiting. The pool shuts quite early at the weekend, considering it’s still so light in the summer months. We got back from our day trips wanting a swim but only had time for about 20-30 minutes

Nice hotel for a night...

Liked: The property has a very beautiful setting and staying there is very peaceful with no traffic noise at all and the beautiful countryside around all to see. The buffet breakfast for the price is very very good. All the usual stuff you’re expect but it all seemed very decent, very well laid out and had a great selection of indoor and outdoor seating. The reception and bar staff were all very friendly, polite and helpful. For the price paid it was certainly worth it despite the disappointing room (although we did get a good last minute deal).
Disliked: Outside of the room itself, the hotel had a great feel about it however the room was a bit of a let down. The room was really not very clean, there were bits of balloon everywhere from a hen do/birthday/ballon artist conference! The room also had only one towel which was super annoying as my wife and I were staying there to get ready for a wedding… damp towel for me it is then!The bed was also uncomfortable, but then I do have a dodgy back so maybe can let that go.
