Liked: Good facilities- gym, pool
Disliked: Overall good. Rooms could do with a deep clean. Dusty shelves.

A comfortable stay and hope...

Liked: Nice facilities, pool and gym. Clean and comfortable bed, room was spacious and had everything we needed. We requested to be near the other room where others in our party were staying and this was met (right next door). Breakfast was great with plenty of choice! Free upgrade with complementary drinks was a bonus and a lovely gesture!
Disliked: We ate in the restaurant in the evening, the food was nice but pricey for the portion size!

What makes this hotel special...

Liked: Purpose built , excellent facilities , very comfortable and clean .
Disliked: Nothing

Short stay

Liked: All staff was very helpful and friendly and beautiful location.
Disliked: Only thing was the swimming pool was a bit small

Exceptional

Pleasant break from journey with...

Liked: Good receptionist and welcome front of house, for instance his organising a proper chair brought to room rather than a pouffe seat to sit on to work at desk. Generally helpful welcoming staff and atmosphere.
Disliked: Items such as dirty windows not cleaned for some time, pouffe seat instead of chair (as above), poorly cooked evening meal certainly expensive for what was supplied (waiter helpful as above).Packets of milk perforated tear not opening therefore teeth required therefore milk splatters - better to have cartons with pull tops, small detail perhaps but..

Had a lovely stay and...

Liked: Beautiful location. Great spa and gym facilities.
Disliked: Pool facilities could use some touch ups I.e. replacing rusty loungers and mouldy shower linings. Lack of toiletries in rooms. Breakfast understaffed and not the best quality for money.
