The Spotlight on Nomo Soho

A Chic and Artistic SoHo Escape for Music Lovers

Modern, boutique-style hotel in the heart of SoHo, Nomo Soho blends high fashion with high comfort. Inspired by the film 'La Belle et la Bête,' the hotel features elegant interiors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and a cool, curated vibe. Just steps from Canal Street subway and within walking distance to Little Italy and countless galleries, it’s a stylish base for catching concerts all across Manhattan and Brooklyn.

Why Concert-goers love it

With the Canal Street Subway Station just two blocks away, getting to and from shows is fast and easy—whether you're headed to Brooklyn Steel, Webster Hall, or Madison Square Garden. After late-night encores, the quiet, artful ambiance of Nomo Soho makes for a peaceful retreat. The 12:00 pm checkout is ideal for sleeping in after a long night, and the hotel’s location in SoHo means there are always late-night bites and rideshare pickups just around the corner.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking for a stylish base with lots of dining and nightlife nearby
  • Solo travelers catching a once-in-a-lifetime show
  • Couples making a romantic weekend out of a concert trip
  • Fans wanting a quieter post-concert recovery space with blackout curtains and cloud-like bedding
  • Budget-conscious music fans who want boutique vibes without Midtown prices

Food and Drink Options

Nomo Kitchen, the hotel’s on-site restaurant, serves up globally-inspired Contemporary American fare using seasonal ingredients—a perfect spot for a pre-show dinner or brunch the morning after. While 24/7 room service isn’t available, the neighborhood offers plenty of walkable late-night dining options, and breakfast is served later for those who need a slow start.

Nightlife Options

SoHo shines when it comes to nightlife. While the hotel itself offers a chic, social bar scene, you're also steps from some of NYC’s most iconic lounges, cocktail bars, and music-driven venues. Whether you’re into low-key jazz bars or late-night DJ sets, it’s all nearby.

What People Say

Guests love the Instagram-worthy design, especially the dramatic entrance and floor-to-ceiling windows in the rooms. Reviewers frequently praise the location, calling it “ideal for exploring NYC” and “perfect for nightlife and concert access.” The staff earns high marks for being friendly and accommodating, and many say the beds are exceptionally comfortable for a good night’s rest.

Areas for Improvement

Rooms aren’t the largest by NYC standards—something to note if you’re traveling with lots of gear or a big group. Some guests mention that elevators can be a bit slow during peak times. Also, while there’s no dedicated late-night room service, the surrounding area more than makes up for it with great late eats.

The Bottom Line

Nomo Soho is a fashionable and well-connected stay in lower Manhattan—perfect for concert-goers who want a stylish crash pad with easy access to NYC’s top venues.

Not good if depressed or...

Liked: The location was nice. Hotel was clean
Disliked: The suicide window was unsettling, wouldn't take much for a kid to open that and tumble 20 stories, the rooms are way to small, no comfort for relaxing after a day in the city. The shower has good water pressure but makes a mess since there is no shower door.

Good

Liked: The view from the rooms is incredible! Really the best way to wake up! The rooms are also spacious.
Disliked: The payments were not seamless and we were overcharged accidentally and holds were placed on the card which made transacting in the city difficult. Sorting it out was not seamless and the temporary manager was not helpful. It would be nice to have a kettle + tea/coffee in the rooms.

Pleasant but overpriced for what...

Liked: The rooms were on the small side to be honest. I stayed in a Premium King and although it was enough for me, I would have thought it would be more spacious. Room had floor to ceiling windows which let a lot of light in. Good shower products and the bed was comfy.
Disliked: The carpet look is a bit dated and it's in a royal blue..... I arrived and my original room had aircon issues so I was downgraded for 1 night before they moved me into another room (not ideal). What I have issue with most is the egregious 'resort tax' they slap on top of the initial amount and when asked what does this cover, they said bottled water, Wi-Fi and gym. Little did I know that it only covered bottled water on the first night! sorry, but this is unacceptable, you charge people extra for items that actually should be free. In other countries, hotels provide water and wifi and use of gym as complimentary - why do we have to pay for this in New York? it's not like the gym is any better. In fact, this is a despicable way for the hotel to accrue more revenue from customers without the third party site taking a larger percentage of the cut. Look up the definition of 'resort' and New York hotels do not come under this. What makes it a resort? it doesn't even have a swimming pool.

Amazing

Liked: We absolutely loved our stay here. Great location & view. Amazing, clean room. A lot bigger than most rooms in NYC.
Disliked: No bar fridges in room. There was a space for one under the sink so would have been great to have one.

Hidden chargers

Liked: Good location
Disliked: After checkout charged $50 for amenities. Asked for break down they would not send it to me and I googled and it’s for bottled water on arrival and free WiFi. The should state that you have to pay for water and WiFi instead of calling it complimentary and charging after checkout. Very small rooms. Very disappointing
