Amazing stay and convenient location

Liked: Pleasant staff, we arrived earlier than we thought we would. They took our luggage and delivered it to the room by the time we got back that night after exploring all day. Location was amazing 15-20 min walk from a lot of sights.

Liked: One of the best hotel experiences I had in new york so far very friendly staff even when I asked them if I can check out a little later because I was running a marathon they instantly said yes and they also have a delicious restaurant right next door

Overall it was just about...

Liked: Convenient location, clean and modern room, nice enough restaurant underneath hotel for quick supper or lunch. Reasonable price for NYC.
Disliked: Our room heating wasn’t working properly when we arrived so the room was quite chilly. An engineer came and repaired it but it was still quite cold in the room most of the time. Also there was no hot water in the bathroom when we got up and left early to catch a flight.The bar area is too open and is not in any way cosy. And the bar music was terrible, especially on our first evening - a bad pianist who played too loudly for the space. Finally we thought there was a general lack of generosity in the construction of the hotel rooms and corridors.

Superb

Liked: the location of the hotel was really great, close to Empire State, 5th Avenue, Vanderbilt Summit, Grand Central etc. Rooms were ok size, could be a bit larger, beds are comfy, breakfast is extraordinary!

super stay, really good choice.

Liked: perfect central location, and our room had a view of the Empire State Building. Beyond expectations.
Disliked: Some staff members whore masks, which made us feel uncomfortable and unsafe as if the hotel was a dangerous place to be. Also, it doesn't feel very personal.
