No frills, but friendly staff,...

Liked: The staff are very friendly and ensured I received an upper level room as I was a woman traveling alone.
Disliked: Look, this is a cheap hotel, I knew that when I booked it. I prefer staying at 4-5 star hotels, but I selected this because I was volunteering for a fundraising event without my husband, and I wanted to keep my expenses low.

Liked: The location is alright. The room was clean. The bathroom sink could use some uncloging and the shower head was not completely affixed to the wall. Other than that the staff was super friendly and the stay was comfortable.

disappointed with the lies of...

Liked: that i wasnt bothered by the manager or staff or other guests. location and price for 1 night ok.
Disliked: the manager is a liar. he tried to collect the money of my debit card even before i arrived. my bank declined the card. had to call england to get card unlocked. then i updated again with card. then he tried again to take the money rejected again. he tried to blame booking . com for saying its bad card. this is not true because i use this card all over the world. he making excuses. and this has never happened with booking .com. telling me its my bank that is the problem.problem is he trying take money in case i cancelled the booking. would not recommend this motel to any 1. like bates motel out film physio. even when i checked out he trying tell me happened again to some 1 else in england. he told me his wife tried to get the booking money at 1 minute past midnight. very disappointed.
