Great friendly staff, good breakfast,...

Liked: The location was fantastic, parking good, staff were polite and helpful, breakfast was nice good choice plenty of it, only down point at breakfast was the coffee cheap instant couldn’t ever tell it was coffee.
Disliked: Afraid the over all look of the place is very tired and shabby and would benefit from having a good make over, I’m sorry to have to say this about the place as it’s a beautiful building I have known for over 40 years and it has lost the smart place it used to be. The rooms them selves have comfortable beds but that’s about it the rest of the room is dinghy a really needs a revamp. The room I had was a good size and would look wonderful revamped.

Good location, lovely breakfast and...

Liked: Friendly staff, nice breakfast and good location.
Disliked: Room very basic and needs updating and decorating as it's very tired and some mildew in the bathroom. Loo roll holder not fixed level on wall so the roll falls off. However it was all clean and worked, shower was nice and hot. I found the bed mattress a bit too hard and uncomfortable but my husband found it okay. Room was fair for the price we paid.

Liked: The room was clean comfortable and looked recently refurbished. Heating was good. It was in a good location for the town.Staff were friendly. Liked the historical character of the building
Disliked: Check took a while, seemed busy and staff member had to cover in the bar aswell as check-in.The carpets were in need of replacement leading to the rooms.I did not like the fact that dogs were in allowed in the breakfast room.Parking was a bit tight at the back and looked a bit shabby.
