Pleasant

Liked: Bed was very comfy and the bathroom was modern and bright. Liked the free parking and the closeness to the Clarks village.
Disliked: Decor in the room, was very tired, also surrounding areas, e.g stairway. Was with an elderly friend and had to carry her case up to floors. No staff offered to help.

Basic but good breakfast

Liked: The beds were super comfortable and we had a great night sleep . A fan was provided which was a godsend as a boiling weekend. Free parking and a great location .Fabulous breakfast.
Disliked: Wifi was pants especially in room 6 . We went with our little dog and were on the top floor which was a pain two flights up and down everytime for a pee . There was a band on the Friday night and it was so loud if we didnt have headphones we wouldnt have been able to hear ourselves think .No mirror in the bedroom .

Perfect stay with outstanding food

Liked: The food here is delicious. Very central location, spacious rooms, have everything you need. Beautiful old building and staff are very helpful and friendly.
Disliked: Cleaners must always remember to clean door handles and panels.

Liked: Lovely little traditional (no new build rubbish!) hotel, perfect central location. Delicious breakfast and warm welcoming staff.

Disliked: Our room had awful damp and mould. We were refunded but to be honest the room should never have been available in the state it was in

Liked: The staff were very friendly and the location was excellent. We had a super room and an excellent breakfast.
Disliked: The pub itself is a little tired on the inside but that shouldn’t put people off.

Disliked: Room over outside drinking area bit noisy especially in extreme heat and wanting windows open

Very enjoyable stay

Liked: Nice old building, very friendly welcoming staff.Had a lovely evening meal and a great breakfast, eggs royale and the chef cooked me egg white on it as requested. Very comfortable bed. Would stay again.
Disliked: Bedroom a bit tired looking but was very comfortable. Tv kept going silent. Bath plug got stuck in but was sorted quickly for us.
