Moxy by Marriott NYC Chelsea

Modern and stylish for NYC...

Liked: It was a comfortable mid-range priced hotel with a nice flower aesthetic theme. It had a nice modern touch to it with moody lighting with a rooftop bar as well. The rooms were clean and compact, and surprisingly had a decent amount of room. Staff were friendly and helpful as well. Atleast the type of room I was in was perfect for a solo traveler looking to explore NYC.
Disliked: My hotel room could have used a better table/desk and also a small chair. A mini fridge would have been preferred too. The hooks on the wall were astheticly pleasing and convenient, but some felt a little out of place. If you were to put only clothes you would block the TV and wall desk.

Probably would not stay again.

Liked: Location was good, staff was friendly.
Disliked: Rooms are very small, requests for towels, washcloths, ice.. etc. took long time to come up to the room. The in room phone did not work. Air conditioning would not go lower than 69.

Liked: The choice of room given on a really high floor facing the Empire State Building was a very nice touch.
Disliked: The shower drain is not properly aligned and will allow water to come out onto the hotel room floor. It got so bad that the floor was filled with water damaging some of my spouses clothes.

Liked: Loved the view and the full floor to ceiling windows!The staff were all respectful and helpful, thank you so much! I loved how we got a free 20 dollar voucher to use at the cafe and free tickets to the museum of new york city, which was so interesting!!We went during the heat wave and there was an ice machine near the gym, it was SO helpful!!!
Disliked: The room was slightly small, hit my leg on the bed corner twice
