Superb

Liked: Even though the rooms are super small, they were clean and beds are comfortable. Location is great. Close to Rockefeller Center, Empire State, stores, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Times Square and more.
Disliked: We got a leaking room. The room was flooded at 5 am when we noticed and we were not able to change rooms until after 3pm. Other than that it was great.

Good location, not the best...

Liked: The concept of small rooms is fine, especially for a solo traveler. Location is central to Times Square if you enjoy the crowds and don't want to walk far to several sites. Were pretty quiet rooms, especially for NYC.
Disliked: The mattresses were really not comfortable and had heavy depressions. Had to strip bed and rotate the mattress to even get something moderately comfortable. The front desk staff are not very friendly or helpful. An issue with my bill afterward resulted in several calls where I was put on hold for over 30 mins before giving up and calling the Honors desk. If you eat at the bar or restaurant, know that they automatically add a 20% gratuity no matter your service level. If you opt for the $30 "resort fee" or whatever it's called, know that NYC taxes that too, just like the room and it's difficult to get your full $30 worth unless you plan to ride the CitiBike every day.
