Quick overnighter

Liked: Budget friendly convenient location with restaurants near by. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, access from Huron Church and back street( Daytona?). Newer owners who are updating. We had 2 rooms a 2 bed queen and king room. The king is large has a lot of space. Have a small microwave and fridge which was handy.
Disliked: Rooms do not have in room coffee but it is available in lobby. My room on the 2nd smelled of weed. I thought it was coming from my room but believe it was the people next door that had drifted over as it did dissipate.

Liked: Location was good.
Disliked: Television did not work - we had to move to another room. The picture on the television in the second room was not good. They fixed the television in the first room after we moved to the second room so we moved back to the first room. The bathtub faucet was leaking and there was rust around the faucet. We asked them to clean the faucet. They promised to get the housekeeping service to clean it the next morning. When we came back to the room in the evening, it was not cleaned so we asked the staff to come to the room to clean it.

My No Stay at Motel...

Disliked: That when we booked they said they were pet friendly. When we arrived they told us we could not leave the dog in the room alone and they wanted us to take the dog out with us when ever we leave. I told them It was to hot to leave the dog in the car when we eat dinner or go to the concert at Caesars Casino Theatre. I would Either have a dead dog or be arrested for cruelty to Animals. She called around and found a hotel that would take the dog under out conditions. We only have a miniature Schnauzer weighs 17 lbs and is well trained. We stayed at the Super 8 Wyndam, but it cost 180.00 plus a fee for the dog charged $25.00 +tax twice. So in short instead of 104.58 we paid $252.00. Never saw at room but they were going to put us on the second floor after I specifically requested ground floor. I can't climb stairs do to severe athritis and pulmonary fibrosis. Will call motel next time they say they are pet friendly just how friendly they really are.
