Disliked: Homeless came on the ride side of the building with people sitting outside and inside cars in the parking lot doing drugs. There were also several prostitutes roaming the area. Didn’t feel safe so I promptly booked a different hotel.

Couldn't find my booking on...

Liked: The fact that my booking could not be found in their system. I was unable to speak to anyone from Booking.com and left a msg with ai chat. told me theyd get back to me within 24hrs which was not helpful bc I was at the hotel already trying to check in.
Disliked: The hotel wouldn't provide me with a room at the same price I was quoted on booking.com so I went somewhere else. I tried to cancel the booking but couldn't so I hope that I have not been charged.

This is a huge NO.

Disliked: Absolutely an unsafe area. The pic on the website in no way matches the reality of this place. Dirty rooms and property.

Disliked: I think it’s ridiculous that I can’t even have my own family here because “no guests allowed.” What kind of hotel would run off their own customers like that? Every single time we even have food delivered, they’re questioning who they are and what room they’re going to. It should be posted or at least relayed to people checking in that guests aren’t allowed. Very strange way to run a hotel.I’m quite sure the motel 6 management isn’t aware of this, (they bought this hotel, what used to be the sweet home extended stay, and before that, the quality inn) and one of the desk workers lives here, so I believe that’s why they have started doing this. Won’t be back after we check out- until there’s new staff. This area used to be terrible and has gotten WAY better. Usually I wouldn’t stay in an area like this anyway, so we thought maybe we could like this place. So I’m very disappointed that we can’t have anyone over. They claim that it’s “no guests after 10pm,” but they make your guests uncomfortable no matter the time.

Liked: There's a QuikTrip like 2mins away
Disliked: Everything. We had to get switched to a different room because the first one had roaches. The second one wasn't really any better and I ended up getting sick. They didn't want to provide new sheets though the first ones were dirty and super torn. I felt like I was treated a certain way because I'm black. When my boyfriend went to get a new room they were super accommodating until they found out he was with me then tried to keep us on the 1st floor and put us in the room directly connected to the wall of the room we were already in with a bunch of roaches. My boyfriend is extremely light for his skin tone, basically white and they were going to make sure he got a great room until they found out he was with a black woman. I will never come back to this place ever again and will make sure if anyone asks me I will make sure to let them know not to either.
