Morgans Hotel

I think that we were at the wrong place at the wrong time when everything went wrong. We couldn't fault the manager's appreciation of the situation and we look forward to visiting again in two weeks time.

Liked: The building and location.
Disliked: Our room was freezing cold with heating inoperative. Fire alarms active intermittently throughout night; didn't get to enjoy the bathroom as there was no hot water.

Disliked: When you stay at Morgan's hotel ensure you are booked in the actual hotel and not the 'town house'. The Town House is NOT Morgan's Hotel. It is a dreadful converted building which is noisy inside and outside, it is not linked to the hotel so, as a female traveller you are on your own in a separate building with no staff around. You are paying almost Morgan Hotel prices for a Travel Lodge experience. We were incredibly disappointed with the room & experience. Having never stayed in Swansea or Morgan's before we did not appreciate the DREADFUL difference in the hotel and it's spillover space. Had we realised we would have booked a nearby hotel for a fraction of the price and enjoyed a true hotel experience.

Beautiful building, comfortable rooms but...

Liked: Good location, comfortable rooms albeit the superior room was surprisingly small. Welcoming staff, very helpful receptionist Laura.
Disliked: The rooms in the townhouse were very small and very overpriced at £252 per night. No fridge in room which would have been useful. No food being served at the hotel apart from breakfast which was disappointing.
