Liked: Great location, near the station and subway. NCP Car park a short walk away. Breakfast was very good and staff helpful.
Disliked: Not much of a lounge area, public rooms or reading material.

Liked: Accommodation was superb, very friendly, helpful staff. Very central location. Would not hesitate to stay here again

Liked: City Centre location
Disliked: Room decor abysmal. Wallpaper coming apart at seams (damp). Bath enamel badly eroded. Next to train station so announcements intrusive. View from window is back of station emergency escape stairs, issues with really loud plumbing noise 7 am as room next door used shower - continued for 30 minutes. We were exhausted after a night in this substandard room.

Superb

Liked: Location was perfect. Room was spacious. Had the view of George's square. Beds very comfortable
Disliked: A bit noisy from the square and taxi rank out front. Needs sound proofing.

A cheeky overnight stay

Liked: We were upgraded for free to a suite. Room was lovely. Staff very friendly and welcoming

Liked: Friendly staff, comfy beds and great location
Disliked: Rooms are a bit tired and requiring some tlc. No bottled water in rooms which seems standard in most 4 stars that i have stayed in. Paid £4.50 for a bottle of water from bar. Couldnt have a shower in the morning as their was no hot water coming through bath taps or shower (advised reception on departure as probably just a wee maintenance job as their was hot water coming through sink taps fine).
