The Spotlight on Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square

Steps from the Stage: Stay in the Heart of the Action

Modern comfort meets Broadway charm at the Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square. Located just off 44th Street in the beating heart of Manhattan, this high-rise hotel puts you right in the middle of Times Square, surrounded by iconic theaters and just a short walk from legendary music venues. With floor-to-ceiling windows in select rooms, you’ll get skyline views that are as unforgettable as the shows you came to see.

The vibe is classic NYC — think energy, excitement, and convenience, with touches of luxury and attentive service from a helpful concierge team ready to score you reservations or last-minute tickets.

Check-in starts at 4:00 PM, giving you time to settle in before the evening’s encore, and check-out is at 11:00 AM, perfect for sleeping in after a late night out.

Why Concert-goers love it

Location is everything — and this hotel nails it. You're within walking distance of some of the city's most iconic music and theater venues, cutting down on post-show travel time. Despite being in the middle of the action, rooms are surprisingly quiet thanks to soundproofing and upper-floor options. The 24/7 concierge is a major plus for scoring last-minute show tickets or navigating late-night transit. And if you're arriving early or leaving late, the hotel’s flexible luggage storage and personalized assistance make transitions smooth.

Who this Hotel is great for

  • Groups of friends looking to catch a big show and explore the city
  • Solo travelers checking off a dream concert
  • Couples on a romantic weekend in the city
  • Fans seeking a quieter recovery space after a high-energy night
  • Budget-conscious concert-goers who want value in a prime location

Food and Drink Options

While on-site dining is currently limited, the surrounding area is packed with walkable options for every craving — from quick bites to post-show dinners. Times Square’s late-night food scene is legendary, and there are plenty of 24-hour spots nearby. Breakfast is available at nearby cafés, perfect for slow mornings after a late encore.

Nightlife Options

You're in Times Square — nightlife is all around you. Whether you're heading to a jazz club, rooftop lounge, or a dive bar with character, it's all just blocks away. While the hotel itself doesn’t host live music, the neighborhood more than makes up for it, with Broadway theaters and live music venues within easy walking distance.

What People Say

Guests love the unbeatable location, especially for seeing shows. Many highlight the helpful concierge service, excellent views, and large room sizes (especially by NYC standards). It’s a favorite for travelers who want to be in the middle of everything without sacrificing comfort.

Areas for Improvement

Some travelers mention that parts of the hotel could use a refresh, including dated furniture and bathrooms. Elevators can be slow during peak hours, and on busy weekends, check-in can feel a little hectic. But overall, most agree the location and value make up for these minor quirks.

The Bottom Line

If you want to stay in the center of NYC’s entertainment scene with comfort, views, and walkable access to top venues, Millennium Hotel Broadway Times Square hits the right note.

Poor - 1.0 out of 5

Melissa, Hope, visiting Palladium Times Square Wed, 11 May 2022

For the price I paid, it would have been nice to have a clean bathtub, or even empty trash cans instead of the previous person's trash. The electrical outlets did not even have face plates. The carpet throughout the room was dirty and frayed. No refrigerator; no microwave; no coffee or any food choices within the hotel. Walking into the lobby I was impressed and felt bamboozled after riding 20 floors in the rickety death trap of an elevator and then walking into what looked like a 'pay by the hour' cheap motel. The employees were not courteous nor knowledgeable. The additional $50 I had to pay for parking considering upon booking I was told there was free valet parking made it a completely disappointing experience. The final question I asked before leaving was 'when will the $100 deposit be returned to my credit card?' The response was ' I couldn't tell ya, but probably within the next couple weeks.' To sum it up any other hotel in the area has to be better than this place.

Liked: Location was close to everything.
Disliked: Dirty; no amenities; rude employees.

Liked: The location is very good.
Disliked: The lobby promises a level of quality that my room, at least, did not deliver. Average at best; somewhat run-down and overly basic at worst.

The staff, from the front desk, to the doorman, were all wonderful - friendly, helpful, pleasant, and polite. The location of the hotel was perfect. It was clean and comfortable. A nice place to stay.

Liked: Great location and friendly, helpful staff.
Disliked: No refrigerator, microwave or coffee maker in the room.

The location is great. Everything...

Liked: The location
Disliked: The mattress was so saggy my back was killing me after one night sleep I couldn’t stand up in the morning the hotel definitely needs to be renovated. The carpets are dirty and worn. The furniture is also ready for replacement. The air conditioning didn’t work properly. If you didn’t set it to 65° it wouldn’t cool and then it would keep billing till it gets it down to 65 if you set the temperature, for 72 than it wouldn’t work. The room had a refrigerated that was so noisy that I had to unplug it to be able to sleep. The restaurants and bar in the hotel have been closed since before Covid and they have no intention of opening them up again as per management.
