Liked: Lovely, refurbished hotel. Great location!
Disliked: We stayed at M Social Hotel NY Downtown and had one of the most disappointing hotel experiences we have ever had.Upon arrival, our room wasn’t ready. As an apology, the staff offered us two complimentary breakfasts for two mornings. We only used one breakfast, but were still charged for it. Despite multiple follow-up emails requesting a refund, the hotel never responded.During check-in, we had to wait more than 20 minutes for a bellboy to take our luggage. Later that day, we requested extra blankets and bedsheets – they never arrived despite two calls to reception. My husband went down himself, only to be told there were no blankets or sheets available, even though we requested them hours earlier.The air conditioning in one of our rooms was not working at all. We reported it, were told it would be fixed, but no one came during our entire stay.To make matters worse, the final bill included a “donation” fee and a gratuity/service fee for room service – both of which we never requested or approved. I contacted the hotel several times about these unauthorized charges, but my emails were completely ignored. We were also promised a discount due to all the inconveniences, which was never applied.The location is excellent and the hotel design is nice, but the lack of service, broken promises, unauthorized charges, and complete absence of post-stay communication make this a place we would never return to.

Liked: Very clean, great location, helpful staff.Especially shout out to William who was more than helpful and kind during the night hours when our baby wouldn’t sleep, exceptional customer service treatment!!!!
Disliked: Had to ask twice for baby crib (which was requested in the reservation)

Liked: Amazing view. Refurbished room. Spacious room
Disliked: Still under some refurbishment in common areas. Sometimes you wait at the elevators or you may wait in a line for the front desk. Not always.
