Liked: Was a good place to stop and have a break from driving.. was very clean and the bed was comfortable too

Great River room views -...

Liked: Beautiful view of the river from our room - comfortable bed and spacious room - had a little verandah looking over the pool and River Murray Hotel is in Gol Gol next to Mildura and on the main road from Mildura to NSW and Northern Victoria - safe parking area in non reserved spaces - there was a great pub approx 300 metres down the road and had a lovely meal there and had great river views as well
Disliked: It’s a bit out of the way of Mildura (few km only) so not a lot of facilities however was great for us Reception closed when we got there at 645 pm but very good response when calling the after hours number and no delay getting thru - so no complaints

But for the alarm interruption...

Disliked: Somewhere in the building, a digital alarm clock woke me up at 2:38 am, and it continued cycling through its tune until I got up at 5:00 am.I don't know if the sound came from another guest's room or the office. I was in room 17, and it was audible to the point that it kept me awake. It was distracting. Fortunately, I had plenty to think about. Chris Byrne

Clean, comfortable and great location...

Liked: This was our second visit to this Motel. The first time we had a balcony overlooking the river. This time we had one of the back rooms with no balcony. The room itself was fine, but it was a bit of come down from the front rooms looking over the river.
Disliked: The free wi-fi was a bit slow.
