Midtown West Hotel

I guess they give you a balcony to sit and watch people, kinda stupid in my opinion, but nowhere says i couldn't smoke there, I also tried calling them and couldn't, i would get this message saying "do not disturb " which is scary! , they came to my room to i guess kick me out cus when i finally got a hold of them to find out my check out time it's it was already time to check out so I just needed a few minutes to gather my stuff and be out. I understand is New York city but the fact that they literally busted into their room next-door because "I didn't hear them knocking" on my door and then proceeded to start yelling at me telling me I was gonna get arrested. How I was smoking in the room ; mind you I never once smoked in the room and even open the door to show them. I don't have a problem with them telling me I couldn't do this. It was the way that they did it how it came out and how it made me feel which was like a criminal. I will never stay at this place again! there's also no elevator. And the door doesn't even have a proper lock. Thank God I have my own travel locker because who knows what else could've happened.

Disliked: Customer Service; no elevator; not proper door lock.

Disliked: Moldy bathroom found a roach but you get what you buy. No elevator we just used it to sleep

Liked: Very convenient location! Room was clean. Close to public transportation and venues, walking distance to pretty much everything. Penn station is a block away!
Disliked: It can be very loud outside and the subway tracks are right underneath the building so the building kind of shakes every time a train passes through.

Liked: The front desk person who assist me with my issues was very helpful.
Disliked: Booking.com advertised a queen room, and I reserved it. When I arrived, the clerk said I had a single twin. The room door was unsecured because it couldn't lock. The night front desk person had to use a master key to let me serial times.
