Beautiful glamping night away

Liked: Beautiful glamping pod with exceptional views over the countryside and the Tor. The pod was well equipped and very comfortable and cosy. The owner was lovely showing us around. The bathroom and shower facilities were only a few steps away and were warm, clean and spacious. I wish we had booked 2 nights so we could make more use of the spa facilities.

Liked: Beautiful location, cottages & cafe. Pool also lovely if small is great they have an adult only swim session 10-2. Staff wonderful.
Disliked: Pool could do with another shower to use before & after swimming. There is one but is reserved for spa guests. Cafe & shop closes at 3 & would be good if was open longer, we were disappointed that the breakfast finishes at 11. All day English breakfasts would be great.

Overpriced for the standards and...

Liked: Check in was quick and easy, the accomodation is in a beautiful location near the Tor, Wifi is fast, kitchen is modern and clean
Disliked: For £160 a night, I expected high quality bedding of hotel standard. If you pay £160 a night at a hotel, you can imagine the quality and standard the bedding would have been. However at Middlewick, the bedding is cheap polyester, this is not value for money at all. Thankfully i had my own bedding in the car, so i used my own fitted sheet, duvet and pillow cases. And additonally the bedding provided was dusty with lots of hairs on it and one of the shower towels had multiple blood stains on it. Thankfully i used my own towel aswell. This is not a £160 a night stay. Reduce your price if you want to offer these standards.
