Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Raleigh

If we had enough time to search for another hotel prior to the show we were going to, we would have. Nastiest establishment I have ever been in. I am appalled to say we stayed there. The health department has been contacted, from what I understand. l'm not sure why they have slid through the cracks, but this situation didn't happen over night. Think twice before booking with this facility.

Liked: Absolutely nothing positive to say that would fall under positive.
Disliked: Disgusting Dive.

Would not recommend it.

Liked: Location to Time Warner Arena ( Wanut Creek).
Disliked: Burn holes in bedspreads; nasty carpeting; unfriendly staff.

Hotel overbooked, so when we showed up to check in, we were made to wait for 30 minutes in the lobby before being told that there were no more rooms available.... however a lady that checked in after me was able to get the key to the THREE rooms she booked???? They need to clean!! Sanitation score is a B! We had to go to a new hotel and were almost late for our concert.

The room was clean, however, the toilet leaked and the covers had a terrible odor

I want a refund due...

Liked: This place was unsafe and I still went and viewed the rooms being I was a hotel manager at one time. The rooms had roaches and bugs over and under bed . Have plenty of photos. Only stayed about 29 minutes to check over both rooms and left. The manager still hasn’t issued my refund and didn’t use one thing nor stayed

It was a decent cheap...

Liked: The door to the lobby was locked and you needed a key to get in.
Disliked: Although they have no smoking signs everywhere and threaten stiff fines if you smoke in your room, the entire place smelled like cigarettes.

Not safe, deceptive photos on...

Liked: The convenience to the concert venue (Coastal Credit Union) is why we chose this location.
Disliked: The photos on booking.com are extremely deceptive. The rooms are tiny, not nearly as nice as they appear. The location is bad - lots of crime and drug dealers. Literally a shooting happened right across the street! Felt very unsafe in the area. There is a gas station with lots of homeless walking around in the same parking lot as the hotel.
