Liked: This location is PERFECT for a one night stay to explore Olvera Street, Chinatown, and Union Station plus excellent to get easily and quickly to Dodgers Stadium. You can even take the shuttle free from Union Station which is a 5 minute walk to the hotel. And right next door to Phillippe’s which is of course a must-eat restaurant in Los Angeles! This hotel is all about the location. Staff is pleasant and helpful. The parking attendant is totally awesome. Sheets are Euro style as in no fitted sheets—they use flat sheets for both so they don’t stay on well. Bring your own or make do. It’s totally fine. But this is a no-frills situation. Only $5 for parking. You can’t beat the value that’s for sure. I would return with family. This is NOT the place for a couples getaway or girls’ weekend. We had to rooms booked and one wasn’t ready yet. When u inquired when it would be ready I was told, “the cleaning staff is behind and I’m not going to pressure them.” I LOVE THIS. I absolutely adore them for standing behind their staff and supporting them. Fabulous!
Disliked: It’s totally fine! Even have free filtered stations to fill your water bottle. I would like fitted sheets but I mean, whatever. It was one night. It’s fine!

Great Value & Location

Liked: I was pleasantly surprised by this stay! Easy walk to Union Station and only $5 a night for parking which is hard to beat in downtown LA. Beds were a bit firm and walls thin, but I still felt comfortable and safe. Perfect budget-friendly choice for the area.
Disliked: No coffee pot in the room and carpet in the hallways could use a good deep cleaning but overall stay was good!

Great Value Hotel

Liked: The staff at the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful. It's a great value hotel with very spacious rooms.

Fair because of the location...

Liked: There was no complimentary breakfast I bought all my meals outside. But the location was great , short , easy commute to nearby transportation. Union station is close where you could catch buses, metr- train lines, bus to airport. I have to add even though the hotel itself wasn't all that good however the staff were kind & courteous to me while there.
Disliked: I would first like to mention the free taxi never picked me up. I told them 4:30 pm and they said I told them 4:30 am. I felt less safe because of another door leading to the room next door even though it seemed locked. I thought that was awkward unnecessary door. Also no microwave in rooms, only 3rd floor ice machine working ,no vending machines.
