Excellent hotel in a real...

Liked: Great hotel, with friendly staff who welcomed us warmly and gave us advice on navigating Rome during the Pope's funeral. Our room wasn't large but it was comfy, clean, nice toiletries, a window that opened. The location was GREAT - we wanted to be in a real Roman neighbourhood, away from any tourist sites, and this hotel delivered! Lovely cafes and bars nearby, a great food market, beautiful apartment buildings.
Disliked: A small annoyance-- only paper cups provided in the room! No proper cups for making tea from the room's kettle or glasses to drink the bottle water provided for free.

Great location

Liked: The location is excellent, close to all the attractions (a few minutes away by metro), but away from all the crazyness of downtown.The hotel itself is cozy. We enjoyed a quiet room which, although not big, was spacious enough.Everything was very clean and in good condition.The mattress is on the firm side (and very comfortable), just as per my personal preference.The staff do a great job, our thanks to everyone for a lovely stay.
