Management need to sort out...

Disliked: Bins not emptied and the rubbish was packaging from cooked salmon ..bed did not look like it had been changed and just half straighten…my partner had bites when she woke up ..disgusting

Stayed 2 nights whilst attending...

Liked: The hotel was central and ideally situated for our needs. Choice of Breakfast foodsTea & coffee in the roomFan was great but could not sleep with on Lighting in the room
Disliked: The room / hotel was so warm it was uncomfortable.Breakfast was chaotic - staff clearly not enough (pleasant though)Water in the bathroom was too hot in the sink and too cold in the showerNo parking at the hotel and I have a blue badge

Liked: Location, staff were very friendly
Disliked: The room we stayed in was run down and not fit for purpose. The price charged did not reflect the state of the hotel. No air conditioning and the rooms were too hot.

Room was awful wouldn’t stay...

Liked: Staff were friendly and very helpful.
Disliked: Room was dated and tired. The room smelt of stale cigarettes which we think may have been damp. Damaged fixtures and fittings , marks on the wall.The bathroom was awful and smelt badly of damp. Toilet seat that was too small for toilet. Broken fixtures and fittings.

Liked: Good location for Darlington town centre.
Disliked: Our room had a strange smell to it and overall the quality of the room was poor. There were big cobwebs, large cracks in the wall, paint was bubbling and peeling and the blinds were broken. The window would not open and the fan provided in the room was covered in dust so did not want to use it. Also the member of staff on reception when we arrived looked very unkempt.
