Tired and unwelcoming but affordable...

Liked: It was somewhere to crash on my way to somewhere and I was tired so it was handy on my route. It had a good up to date smart tv that has screen casting and the Elemental Herbology toiletries were very nice.
Disliked: My check in experience by the night manager was nothing short of depressing and miserable. He didn’t make eye contact, he didn’t say welcome, or even hello, I had to ask if he had received my booking and eventually he found it. If someone is checking into a hotel at 11.45pm they are tired and have likely come far, I had driven up from Cornwall…so make the check in experience fast and efficient, I was stood there for 7 minutes without any communication. I was eventually sent on my way with not an ‘enjoy your stay’ but a ‘please don’t smoke or vape in the rooms’. WiFi information and breakfast times are a good place to begin!

Liked: My father had a disability and he was allocated a disabled room he was extremely happy with it
Disliked: My dad said he’d like to be able to sit outside in the garden but wasn’t sure there where seating areas

Liked: Room clean, Bed comfortable , nice TV easy to work. We didnt have breakfast so cant comment. No noise and nice wooded surroundings .
Disliked: Bit dull decor . Shower in bath seemed not to have been used for a while (stale water smell at first) No grab handles. Entrance area again dull. Sign for hotel not prominent enough. --- Car Park exit onto road turning Right was difficult being a very busy road. Parking company signs too high and too small to read. We left at 10:50 am and felt we could risk getting a parking charge as there was a fee at all times unless "booked in"
