The hotel was value for...
Liked: The hotel is a little tired looking but if you can put aside the minor decor and maintenance issues the standard of daily house keepings is high. My room was clean, the bed was very comfortable. The hotel is in a quieter part of Bournemouth with low levels of passing traffic and generally peaceful. The small indoor pool is great for a quick swim. There is a small but well maintained garden where you can sit out and have a drink. It's a 2 mins walk to the steps leading down to the quieter end of East Cliff Beach; the interesting Russell-Coates Museum is a 6 min walk and the pier a 10 min walk.
Disliked: There is no information leaflet about breakfast times, bar and pool opening times in the room so you have to go down to reception if you want any information. The TV works via APPS and I was told you need to pay.

Very Close to Bournemouth beach
Liked: It was very close to Bournemouth beach and there are restaurant’s about a 6 min walk which was really convenient.
Disliked: The bathroom is very back dated and had some damaged parts and some dead insects. Also you could hear everything people walking in the room above. Someone turning a switch on and off in the next room.

Nice hotel but needs updating.
Liked: Lovely comfy bed. Clean bathroom. Nice staff.
Disliked: Room needed a paint as dirty walls. Tv didn't work. When we told reception about it, was told it was a problem and quite a few people had complained about it. Reception knew about it but didn't mention it upon booking in.

It needs a public health...
Liked: Absolutely nothing
Disliked: Everything the room was awful only one cup no teaspoons!! No soap for the basin. Gym was embarrassing and should have a public health warning!! The rowing machine had broken in two there was one machine working and a dining chair to do the weights on!! Hang on it gets better a step into the women’s changing room that is very much out of sight and I’ve fallen down it and broken my ankle!! We went to the reception to complain and they asked me to pay the £10 parking fee so I told them where to go and handed the key in and came home!! We were there an hour tops!! Absolutely diabolical!!!

Just so disappointing.
Liked: Breakfast was good quality. Spa was good
Disliked: Breakfast only luke warm. Dinner was very poor value for money. £9 for a cheeseboard that was such poor quality cheese, soggy biscuits and wrinkled grapes needs addressing. We upgraded to a superior room which was very low standard. Peeling paint, poorly fitted shower head resulting in flooding bathroom. Just so disappointing

Not as advertised
Liked: The reception bar and restaurant was all very nice.
Disliked: Many of the spa facilities were not working and the ones that were were in poor condition. They should update information about availability of facilities. Jacuzzi and plunge pool not working. Sauna not great. Pool was like a public kiddies pool.
