Comfortable and stately

Liked: Very comfortable good accommodation. Lovely food.
Disliked: Noise from motorway

Won’t be going back.

Liked: Good position, most of the staff, especially reception and bar were great. Room was clean.
Disliked: Looking rather tatty, needs some paint. There was a lot of food but it was rather bland. Communal spaces not very clean, carpets could do with a deep clean.

Liked: Beautiful building, friendly staff, upgraded my room for free, lovely courtyard with a water fountain outside the room, comfortable bed
Disliked: Leisure facilities a bit expensive for a one off (£10)

Liked: Beautiful building and surrounding grounds.
Disliked: Quite warm in the summer without a fan or AC.

We’ve stayed a few times...

Liked: Breakfast was hot and plentiful and liked take away hot drink option. Lovely big bedroom and bathroom - very comfy bed and powerful shower.
Disliked: Would have dined in restaurant but was a lack of vegetarian options. We had beautiful weather but the wasps were unbearable!!! The outside area by the bar needed cleaning which may have attracted them.
