Superb

Liked: The prices were pretty good. The upstairs patio is nice. Convenient for the bus line. Free breakfast and coffee every morning. Staff was friendly. Clean and no bed bugs.
Disliked: Too many stairs. Very small shower.

Liked: (didn't know anything about breakfast-) bed room, bathroom, and rooftop were great. Large spacious rooms. Large common areas, although I saw very few people while I was there. I Had a "girls only" room too which was nice.
Disliked: My room was bt the front of the building, there was loads of noisey traffic all night and there's a metal plate in the road that makes the traffic more noisy. What can you do? They do provide ear plugs

Liked: Comfy bed clean rooms location not bad with views of the hollywood sign bus stop just right outside of hostel many shops to buy food and take aways
Disliked: Lack of cups to make drinks so brought my own after a day only one thin blanket but i guess it gets particularly warm there at night but i did feel the cold in last day as the weather went cold

Liked: I absolutely love the location and lay out of the hostel. Staff treated me more so like family than just your typical guest checking-in. The cultural dynamic was a plus because I met people from countries such as Japan, Brazil, Russia, and other parts of the U.S. I could not have asked for a better room and better hospitality. The breakfast was delicious and the people seemed very special in their own unique way. I have nothing but great things to say about this place, and wish that there were more places such as this one. If I am ever in town, I will surely reach out in order to book another stay. Thank you so much!-Erby Foster

Disliked: My bed felt comfortable but my back was hurting after a while

We were not welcomed there.

Liked: Nothing. It's in a centrally located area. But we had a terrible experience, Left the very same night we checked in.
Disliked: We didn't stay there as we were deliberately given the incorrect code the first night. We checked in, went for dinner and could not get back in as the code to enter the door was incorrect. We waited for almost 40 minutes in the drizzle. After 40 minutes two other people came along and let themselves in with the correct code. Both my daughter and I had the feeling that this was deliberately done, as we had a bad vibe from the front desk host immediately upon arrival. We were also supposed to be sharing the same room with her. Needless to say we left that night and asked for a complete refund. They only refunded us part so far, I've been emailing and calling to get the other half. which they have no reason to hold. The front desk girl had zero empathy and pretended that she did not know that we had the incorrect code. We were glad to go elsewhere in any case, as the room smelled very musty and vibes were weird.
