The Medehamstede Hotel is set among spacious well-kept gardens in the coastal town of Shanklin. It is located on the Isle of Wight half a mile from Shanklin Rail Station and a 5-minute walk from the beach and offers limited free private parking. Each room at the Medehamstede has an private bathroom a TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Free WiFi is offered throughout and some rooms feature views of the sea or the hotel's gardens. Liked: Location - few minutes walk to town and the lovely cliff top walk and lift to the beach.Quiet areaStaff who went above and beyond to make the stay a happy one

Lovely hotel and friendly staff...

Liked: Nice hotel staff were lovely and friendly the food was nice and I had two nights of entertainment Drinks in the bar were reasonable and the location to the front was a nice walk

Liked: Friendly staff, clean room and throughout the hotel. Breakfast was lovely. Location is perfect for the sea front (5mins away) and for the town centre.
