A lower end McMenamins property.
Liked: The restaurant space had potential.
Disliked: The room, the noise, it felt rundown. A homeless woman was bathing in the bathroom sink of the restaurant while I was there to eat dinner.

Good place to stay. Small...
Liked: Location is awesome. Atmosphere of older places is a nice change of pace.
Disliked: Rooms are a bit small, and loud, but this comes with the historic vibe of the place.

Unique piece of turn of...
Liked: A very unique experience. The room had two bunk beds and a shared bathroom, which was fine. The real coolness comes from the theatre, bar and pool hall that are all attached. This place has a lot of history as well!
Disliked: The beds were small but we knew that

Safe stay at McMenamins
Liked: The staff was very informative and kind to speak with. The room was cozy and the bathroom was clean.
Disliked: I don't think there was AC in the room so it was a bit warm. Also I didn't see an elevator but I didn't walk around to look for one either.

Don’t expect much
Liked: The history and the building. Walkable distance to most things downtown.
Disliked: Staff didn’t seem to like their jobs.. not very friendly. Had to go find someone in the bar/ restaurant part yo check out.. Went to eat dinner there and were told to sit anywhere empty and we did, and were told to move by a rude staff member who said it’s for the people playing pool.. no one was sitting there.
